Replace a missing tooth permanently

An implant is the only option that replaces the root as well as the tooth, so the bone stays and the tooth stays put. Dr. Kiran Haseeb plans every case on a 3D CBCT scan before she touches anything.

What are you dealing with?

Tell us in two taps and we will tell you straight what an implant would involve in your case.

1. What is missing?
2. How long has it been missing?

What an implant actually is

Three parts. Once you see it this way, the rest of the conversation makes sense.

1

The implant

A small titanium post placed into the jawbone, where the old root used to be. Over the following months the bone fuses to it, which is what makes it permanent.

2

The abutment

A short connector that screws onto the healed post. You never see it. Its only job is to hold the crown at exactly the right height and angle.

3

The crown

The tooth everybody sees, made to match the shade and shape of the teeth beside it. This is where the cosmetic side of Dr. Kiran's work matters most.

Who will be doing the surgery

Dr. Kiran Haseeb · Implantology & Cosmetic Dentistry

Graduated with distinction from Army Medical College, Rawalpindi, then completed specialised training in dental implantology in the UK. She places the implant and designs the final crown herself, which is unusual, and it is why the finished tooth tends to disappear among the others.

She is also the person people mention when they say the surgery was calmer than they expected.

  • Distinction, Army Medical College (AMC), Rawalpindi
  • Specialised implantology training in the United Kingdom
  • Both surgical placement and the cosmetic crown work
  • Every case planned on 3D CBCT imaging first

How the treatment runs

Implants are not a one-visit treatment, and any clinic that tells you otherwise is selling something.

1

Plan

3D CBCT scan of the jaw, a health check, and the implant system chosen for your bone. You see the plan before anything is booked.

2

Placement

The titanium post is placed under local anaesthetic. Minimally invasive, and most people are surprised how ordinary the appointment feels.

3

Healing

Usually 3 to 6 months while the bone fuses to the post. You are not without a tooth during this time, a temporary is arranged.

4

The crown

Abutment fitted, then the custom porcelain crown, shade-matched to your own teeth. From then on you treat it like a normal tooth.

“I recently had a dental implant procedure done with Dr. Kiran Haseeb and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. From the initial consultation to the final placement, everything was clearly explained and professionally handled. The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The procedure itself was smooth and relatively painless, and the healing process went exactly as expected. Now that the implant is complete, it feels just like a natural tooth!”

“I visited dr Kiran last summer when I was in Pakistan. I didn’t write a comment because I don’t want to give misinformation to people. It’s been almost a year and I’m super happy and satisfied with her treatment. Honestly speaking I was scared to see a doc but must say that her office was super clean and service was great.”

Coming from abroad for implants?

Implants need a healing gap between the surgery and the crown. That is exactly the part we plan around your flights.

Split across two trips

Scan and placement on the first visit, crown on the second. We map the dates with you before you book anything.

40% off at Serena Hotel

Patients taking a full treatment plan get 40% off at Serena Hotel Islamabad, a few minutes from the clinic.

Airport pickup included

Book through the hotel and airport pickup comes with it. You land and come straight in.

Systems you can service anywhere

Straumann and BioHorizons are used worldwide, so any dentist in your own country can work on it later.

The questions everyone asks

Is the surgery painful?

The placement itself is done under local anaesthetic and you should not feel pain during it, only pressure. Afterwards there is soreness for a few days, which ordinary painkillers handle. Patients routinely say it was easier than the extraction that came before it.

How long does the whole thing take?

Usually three to six months from placement to final crown, because the bone needs that time to fuse to the titanium. That waiting period is not padding, it is the thing that makes an implant last.

Why are implants so expensive?

Most of it is the implant system itself and the planning around it. A Straumann or BioHorizons post costs many times what an unbranded one does, and it is the part that has to survive in your jaw for decades. Dr. Kiran covers this properly in one of the videos above.

Will it fail or come loose?

Well-planned implants have very high long-term success rates. The things that put them at risk are smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, untreated gum disease and poor cleaning, which is why the first appointment checks all of that before anything is agreed.

I lost the tooth years ago. Is it too late?

Usually not, but the jawbone shrinks where a tooth has been missing for a long time, so a bone graft may be needed first. The CBCT scan shows exactly how much bone is there. This is the single most useful reason to come in and find out rather than guess.

Am I too old for implants?

There is no upper age limit. What matters is bone and general health, not the year on your ID card. Plenty of implant patients are in their sixties and seventies.

Can I have all my teeth replaced?

Yes. A full arch does not need an implant for every tooth. Four to six well-placed implants can carry a fixed set of teeth, which is what All-on-4 and All-on-6 mean. There is a video on this above.

What does it cost?

It depends on the implant system, whether a graft is needed, and how many teeth are involved, so a figure quoted before the scan would be a guess. Call or WhatsApp and we will explain the options honestly, and your consultation fee is adjusted into the treatment plan when you go ahead.

The gap will not stay the same size

Bone shrinks where a tooth is missing, and the teeth either side start to drift into the space. Finding out where you stand costs one appointment.
